(Chicago, IL) – More news from Chicago. Goose Island Beer Co. will introduce a new label for its Bourbon County Stout this year going with a white on black theme vs. the old black on white theme. The brewery also plans to change up the label for Christmas Ale.
BCS will be released in November in 12 oz. bottles, 1/6 bbl kegs, and for the first time, 22 oz. bottles. On an aside, the brewery also plans to release more Sofie and Juliet in bottles next month.
They could have it in an old pickle jar with a Vlassic label and I would still drink it. What a terrific beer. But the new label is very nice.
Shnazy! Can’t wait for it to come out. Especially to do a side-by-side with the 08′s I’m aging.
