Victory Brewing adds new seasonal, Yakima Twilight Ale

(Downingtown, PA) – MyBeerBuzz.com reported a couple weeks back that with Hop Wallop now available year-round, the brewery decided to make Victory Yakima Twilight Ale its replacement seasonal.

Yakima Twilight first appeared on tap last December. It’s categorized as a Double IPA on Beer Advocate and an American Strong Ale on RateBeer. The label made it through the TTB this week and the beer is poised to make its bottled debut in 6-packs later this year. Considering Hop Wallop was a harvest seasonal, I’d expect this to be available in bottles beginning in the fall.

The label description notes the use of dark malts. Yakima, of course, is a reference to the Yakima Valley of Washington which, according to USAHops.org, “contains approximately 75 percent of the total United States hop acreage.”

Victory Brewing now also has a blog though it doesn’t go into the brewery’s beers very much.
