(Portland, OR) – A new brew coming this week from Hopworks…

According to Hopworks Brewer, Ben Love, Abominable Winter Ale will be available October 1st – December 31st in both 22oz bottles and draft in Oregon, Washington and British Columbia. This is the brewery’s winter release and rounds out the seasonal lineup which is as follows:

Spring Release (Jan-Apr): Secession CDA
Summer Release (May-Sept): Rise Up Red
Winter Release (Oct-Dec): Abominable Winter Ale

Label description: This mythological beer emerges from the depths of our brewery every winter. Made with Cascade, Centennial and Simcoe hops and six organic malts, “A-Bomb” has a complex floral, spicy and citrus hoppiness backed up by just the right amount of malt sweetness. 7.3% ABV, 17 deg. Plato, 70 IBU.
