New label approvals and arrivals…
The cat is out of the bag on Allagash Avancé. Allagash Brewing got label approval for the 375ml bottles and the beer will be released in the future as a limited small batch release similar to Gargamel and others in the past, according to a brewery rep. The beer, Allagash Four aged in oak barrels with strawberries (per RateBeer) , has only made limited appearances at various events until now.
Lift Bridge Chestnut Hill Nut Brown Ale is now available. The beer has been previously available only on draft but, as of this week, it’s now in bottles as well. Per the website, it’s described as, “a wonderfully big nut brown ale crafted with roasty toasty malts balanced with Yakima hops and just enough alcohol to keep you warm on a fall afternoon.” 6.5% ABV.
Mother Earth Brewing just released Old Neighborhood Porter on tap and bottles should be coming soon according to the latest blog post. There is a littler history there about the style, too.
According to an Eel River Brewing rep, Eel River Climax Noel should hit shelves soon as the label was just approved. “It will be an organic dry-hopped Imperial Red Ale with 10% ABV. We brewed a small batch this year, so it will be very limited.”
