I saw a few messages on Beer Advocate about the New England Imperial Stout Trooper label being particularly interesting this year and knew I had to find a picture of the label. Now that I’ve seen it posted up in multiple places, I’m sharing it here. Thanks to @zennie20 and @hoptopia on Twitter for contributing the label.

It started when LucasArts Entertainment asked New England Brewing to take the Imperial Storm Trooper off of the label due to intellectual property infringement. This is New England Brewing’s response to LucasArts. Fun stuff.

I’ve now seen a couple postings that this beer is available in stores in CT but I haven’t seen any reported sightings in MA yet.
