Another Single Hop beer from Mikkeller, Sorachi Ace.

DuClaw Black Lightning is a brand-new beer, an American Black Ale, to appear in 12 oz. bottles.

Like Jolly Pumpkin recently, it looks like Victory Brewing is doing an exclusive beer, a Bock, for Winking Lizard Tavern, a chain of bars/restaurants with a craft-centric beer list.

We all know what happened with Deschutes Black Butte XXII last year. Let’s hope that things go better with XXIII. As part of the brewery’s Reserve Series, this beer should return in June.

Finally, Sun King Johan the Barleywine cans got approval. Per a brewery tweet, “We got Federal Approval for Johan the Barleywine in our Specialty Can Today! Now to order stickers and plan the release…Details to come.”
