(Escondido, CA) – The latest collaboration to happen at Stone Brewing now has label approval.
Troegs Brewing and the winning homebrewers who created the recipe, Kevin Sheppard and Jason Fields, collaborated with Stone on this one. To my knowledge, no release timeframe has been made public for Cherry Chocolate Stout. The collaboration took place in late April so a summer release would be a good bet.
The 8.8% ABV beer will be released in 12 oz. bottles and on draft.
Wow, that’s awesome. I’m totally happy for those guys, what an experience. And the beer looks good!
I can tell you first-hand, if you like a good stout, you will not be disappointed in this one! Of course, I might be a little prejudiced.
Hope a Tröegs local can get a taste of this!
Locally we plan on doing some joint Tröegs/ Stone Events throughout PA.. not sure on the draft or case distribution on this beer but it will be made available in our wonderfully state!
