Cigar City Brewing Update: 110k+OT #4, Imperial Milk Porter, Euro collab, brewhouse

Cigar City 110k+OT batch 4

(Tampa, FL) – A few more updates to report with respect to Cigar City Brewing

Per Joey Redner, “110K+OT Batch #4 is tentatively scheduled to go on sell at the brewery late next week. Batch #4 has a new label and that new label is the only thing that identifies it as being the new batch. Past batches had a batch # sticker, future batches will have batch #’s printed on the label. #4 is a hoppy, high gravity red ale (10.2% abv). It is based on our Tocabaga Red Ale but ratcheted up a bit. We tried to make it stand out from Batch #3 by actually attenuating it ;-)”

On Imperial Milk Porter, Redner says that the brewery hopes to bottle it this week and that it will be probably be released two or three weeks after bottling.

Per the Mikkeller blog, CCB Head Brewer, Wayne Wambles, is travelling to Denmark this week for a collaboration brew. “We will bring Wayne to Amager Bryghus where we will brew a new collaboration between Cigar City and Mikkeller. It will be a quadruple which will be aged on Grand Marnier barrels with some exotic fruits.”

Last but certainly not least, the brewery just received its new brewhouse. More CCB beer is coming in the future…
