Basso learned his trade at Brooklyn Brewery, earning him instant credibility among beer enthusiasts. He expects to brew enough beer to fill 6,000 standard-size kegs every year. He and his partners hope to open a tap room in late May, but almost all the beer will be distributed to bars, restaurants and beer stores in the Hudson Valley and New York City metro area.
