(Chicago, IL) – Lagunitas Brewing Owner, Tony Magee, sent out some tweets on Saturday following a visit to Chicago where the company plans to open its second brewery next fall. Magee says that the company is a bit behind but “will catch up quick.” Permitting is the next step with many to go before the brewhouse’s arrival next July.

With this trip to Chicago the engineering work for the nu brewery is nearly complete and licensing & building permits are close to filing!

I attended the IL Craft Brewers Guild meeting and met a room full of adrenalin and good vibes… Very cool time for the city’s aleophiles…
