(Escondido, CA) – As if Stone Brewing Co. didn’t already have enough on its plate, especially with respect to new beer releases, the company announced on Thursday that it is bringing back Lukcy Basartd Ale. Both bottles and kegs will be released beginning on Monday, October 29th.

The beer originally made its debut in November of 2010. Per the official website (just ignore the part about this being a one-time release):

The mree fcat taht yuo’re hdoinlg tihs bttloe in yuor hnad ianidctes taht yuo’re pyiang antteiton, wihch ideitammley stes you arpat form the msseas. It aslo mkaes you one Lukcy Basartd. In English, that means Lukcy Basartd Ale is a blend of Arrogant Bastard Ale, OAKED Arrogant Bastard Ale and Double Bastard Ale.

Given this is a hop-forward beer and it was just bottled on Thursday, expect this to be released very soon. The brewery doesn’t mess around when it comes to freshness.

The beer has most recently surfaced in the form of Oak-Aged Double Dry Hopped Lukcy Basartd Ale, also known as Crime.
