The big news around the Tasting Room this week is the re-release of our rye barrel aged version of Smoking Wood. We loved that beer so much the first time that we decided to brew it again! This particular variation was brewed with beachwood and cherrywood smoked malt then aged in rye whiskey barrels. At 13% ABV, this imperial smoked porter has a delightfully full body that showcases some light rye spiciness. Toasty oak, caramel and vanilla flavors round out that brew that we can’t help but love. Draft and bottles of Rye Smoking Wood are on sale right now and we’ll also be serving some of this brew through our Randall filled with espresso, which complements the big roast characters already present.
