According to Oestrike, the Stimson Avenue facility should begin brewing operations in the next three to four weeks. He said the facility will begin brewing batches of three of the pub’s staple concoctions: Mystic Mama IPA, Firefly Amber Ale and Chomolungma English Brown Ale.
Oestrike said that Jackie O’s has brewed about 1,800 kegs at its West Union Street location in 2012 — the most in the business’ seven-year history. He anticipates that the new facility will allow for 6,000-7,000 kegs or more to be brewed per year.
