Oskar Blues Brewery looking at Indiana next

Oskar Blues Brewing logo crop(Longmont, CO) – BeerPulse learned on Monday that Oskar Blues Brewery is looking at Indiana as its next market.

Marketing Director, Chad Melis, confirmed that the company is in talks with distributors across the Hoosier State and hopes to finalize things in time for a late spring/early summer launch. No deals signed yet or anything else to report on the distribution front. OB landed in Michigan just two weeks ago.

We also asked about new packages though Melis said they’re just focusing on current projects for now like Brevard, Michigan, 19.2-ounce cans of Dale’s Pale Ale and Mama’s Little Yella Pils…Melis would like to see variety packs by year’s end though it is a moving target.

Last week, the brewery announced that volume is up 42% through February and it projects to brew 128k barrels this year.
