(Munster, IN) – Three Floyds Brewing Co. announced on Saturday morning some last-minute details for Dark Lord Day 2013 (Saturday).

The event’s skyrocketing popularity over the years has created a supply-and-demand challenge for the brewery. It reported early Saturday that Dark Lord Russian Imperial Stout bottle allocations for ticket holders would be three bottles at $15/bottle. Allocations have been four bottles most recently and even six when the event was in its infancy.

The news was met with some disappointment on Twitter: “Well f*&k.” “Ugh.” “I think the people expecting 4 bottles are going to be none too happy!

They were outnumbered by people happy to be partying at 8am local time: “Wow. Today is awesome.”

The brewery also revealed its Barrel-Aged variants for this year:

Port Barrel Aged
Moscatel Barrel Aged
Bourbon BBL with Chilis (Muerte)
Bourbon Vanilla
$50 per bottle.

The best way to follow the day’s events digitally would be to download Instagram photo app to your phone and search the #dld and #dld2013 hashtags.
