(Cleveland, OH) – Great Lakes Brewing Company (GLBC), celebrating 25 years as Ohio’s original craft brewer of award-winning lagers and ales, announces its intentions to expand further into existing regions and continue investing in capital improvements in its Ohio City brewery. A summary of activities for the 2nd half of 2013 includes the following:

· Additional Markets

o 2nd Quarter 2013:

§ South Central Pennsylvania (Gettysburg, Harrisburg)

o 3rd Quarter 2013:

§ West Virginia Panhandle

§ Indiana

§ Minnesota (St. Cloud)

§ Remaining Pennsylvania (Northeast, North Central)

o 4th Quarter 2013 – 1st Quarter 2014:

§ Remaining North Carolina (Central, Asheville, Coastal)

· Brewery Investments

o 3rd Quarter 2013:

§ Brewhouse automation

· 10 brews/day (up from current 7 brews/day)

§ Upgraded labeler

· 240 bottles/minute (up from current 170 bottles/minute)

§ Tank Farm air handling upgrades

§ Water deaeration upgrades
