(Chicago, IL) – The latest from Revolution Brewing, courtesy of the company’s email newsletter…
Today we release our 4th Year Beer, a Belgian-style quad we brewed to celebrate our fourth anniversary.
This ale is brewed with abbey yeast along with chamomile and Belgian candi sugar. A wonderfully sweet and warmly boozy beer to sip in chilly weather. 11.5% ABV.
4th Year Beer is on draft now at the brewpub and tap room. We also have it available in 22-ounce bottles available at the tap room now and rolling out at retailers next week.
We’ve updated our online beer calendar with our 2014 releases.
Here are the release dates for the next month:
2/5 – 4th Year Beer, a Belgian-style quad, & TV Party, our rye IPA with huge hop flavor (both available in 22-oz. bottles)
2/12 – Red Skull imperial red ale (draft only) & Riot Pils a crisp Czech-style pilsner named for the Lager Beer Riots of 1855, Chicago’s first civil disturbance.
2/19 – Rise American Stout with notes of chocolate and coffee (draft only)
2/26 – Chicago Smoke, a seriously smoky German-style rauchbier & Jukebox Hero, a double dry-hopped black IPA (also available in 22-oz. bottles). Jukebox Hero is the first of our 2014 “Hero” series, which will include Galaxy Hero (April), Crystal Hero (May), and Citra Hero (June).
3/5 – Winter Woman imperial brown ale – a more full-bodied version of Working Woman & Paddy Wagon, a classic dry Irish stout that is nitrogenated for a creamy head.
Look for our latest packaged releases at the Kedzie tap room and at local retailers.
