(Athens, GA) – Terrapin Beer Company’s latest newsletter makes note of a new packaging hall and a few new releases that we didn’t already know about. Though it isn’t mentioned here, we also slipped in the label for the new Rye Cubed, coming in June.
New Packaging Hall
We’re growing yet again. For the next few months, Terrapin Tours will be held strictly outside in our back yard. Construction has started on our new Packaging Hall, which so happens to be exactly where our indoor tour space used to be. Be patient, though. Once we clear out our first floor (just moving upstairs, nothing to worry about), we’ll be starting renovations for a brand-new indoor tasting room. Until then, please come prepared to hang outside.
RYE Pale Ale
Nope, you’re not crazy. You did just see this on the shelves, and you’re right, Rye’s not gone anywhere since 2002. BUT! Check out that new label design! Rye’s new look may have already appeared near you, but if not, rest assured that it’s the same great beer with an updated wardrobe.
Rumor Has It….
You may have heard down the hop vine about some additions to our year-round line-up… and depending on what you heard, it might be true! Two new beers will be joining the always-available club in 2014.
HI-5 California-style IPA
HI-5 IPA will soon join RecreationAle on our year-round line up as our second canned beer! This brew will round out our always-on IPA offerings and at 5.9% ABV will be perfect for those who want a little more oomph than RecreationAle’s sessionable profile, but less octane than Hopsecutioner delivers.
Like a memorable adventure along U.S. Route 101, HI-5 California Style IPA leads you down a road of pure adrenaline and beauty. Capturing the majestic flavor of citrusy hops that roll off your tongue like a white cap on an ocean wave, this scenic wonder will keep you in awe, sip after sip.
Liquid Bliss Chocolate Peanut Butter Porter
No, ladies and gentlemen. You’re not hallucinating. Liquid Bliss, previously released as Side Project 18, is returning to shelves once again!
Liquid Bliss was one Side Project folks just could not get enough of! We knew that the luscious salty-sweet combo of cocoa nibs from Olive & Sinclair and peanuts would blend blissfully in a smooth dark porter, but we didn’t know it would be such a hit! The people have asked, and we’re going to deliver.
Back by popular demand, Liquid Bliss will be 2014’s second new beer to be joining our line of always-available beers, just after HI-5. Previous partner Olive & Sinclair Chocolate Co. will supply the cocoa nibs that give this porter its velvety chocolate taste. Look for 6-packs of 12 oz. bottles in early June!
