(Belchertown, MA) – The Shelton Brothers are bringing over another beer from Brasserie Cantillon in Belgium. This unblended lambic is currently the top-ranked in its category over at RateBeer (suffice it to say that Cantillon has a stronghold atop this category). This batch was the first liquid placed into oak barrels after which cognac had aged for 15 years. The barrels were purchased in early 2005 and the lambic beer aged there for two years. According to the brewery, the beer gets its name from the geographic location of the city of Brussels.
