(Chico, CA) – Sierra Nevada Chico Estate Harvest Ale will become the latest to be bottled as part of the brewery’s Harvest Ale Series, a batch of beers known for the inclusion of wet hops. This one will feature hops grown at Sierra Nevada’s Chico Estate. The beer should be available toward the end of August though its distribution will be more limited than that of the recent Southern Hemisphere release.
According to the press release on Beer Advocate, the beer was previously only available on draft as “‘20th Street Ale.'” That now changes as Bill Manley, Sierra Nevada Brewing Communications Coordinator, notes that the brewers estimate total production of 200 bbl’s, still enough to hit most or possibly all markets but with little depth.
Sierra Nevada Anniversary Ale, a re-release, should be hitting stores now. The beer was released for the first time in bottles last year. Sierra Nevada Harvest Ale, another annual release with fresh hops, should be out in late September, climate-permitting.
Bill Bales is far too busy to submit press releases and follow up on blogs…
I’m Bill Manley and I am the Communications Coordinator with Sierra Nevada. AKA Sierranevadabill on the blogs.
I’m new with the brewery and as a professional beer geek, I get to surf the web and see how Sierra Nevada is recieved by the public. if anybody has any kind of questions or comments about the brewery, about our beer, or just about anything else I would be happy to answer them.
Cheers,
Bill Manley

I am drinking a Chico Estate Ale as I type this. Bought 3 20 oz. bottles at my local Bevmo, and must say, I LOVE this Ale! I am off to buy more tomorrow! Thanks for a GREAT product!
I am going to need a new refrigerator just for Sierra Harvest Ales. I have just scored 5 bottles of the Estate Harvest from two locations in the North Bay area. I can’t wait to try it. I am out scouring the land for any more I can find. Wish me luck. God bless you Sierra Nevada
