NO LONGER ACTIVELY MAINTAINING A BEER RELEASE CALENDAR.
This is my best effort to consolidate all of the craft beer release information that I post on the site. It’s not a perfect science and beers tend to get pushed back more often than not. Hopefully it will provide some use to you.
Here are the updates made…
1) Changed the links so update any bookmarks that point to the old ones!
2) Changed up the color scheme (if it is too difficult to read, just leave a comment here or email me and I will consider altering it)
3) Added relevant links to most of the beers we’ve reported on.
4) Made a slew of adjustments to existing dates
5) Added new beers like those from Flat Earth and the Bruery
6) Separated out some of the quarters into months for faster loading on mobiles and slow connections.
7) The link above and on the left sidebar now takes you to the page with the current month’s releases instead of just the text list like before but you can still access the text-only page from the same list of links near the top of the Craft Beer Releases page.
For the next update, I’ll change over more of the thumbnails to reflect the actual beer (and not just the brewery). That won’t be until the fall, however. Things to expect (in order) and all possibly within the next week:
1) Update craft beer index (which is quite mobile phone-friendly if you’re stuck somewhere)
2) Clean up the social bookmarking buttons in the top left
3) Online beer buying guide (the research is done- just got to get it onto the web)
4) Navigational bar and google custom search added to the top of the page
Lastly, sorry to Internet Explorer users who were unable to access the site on Friday. A service that I and thousands of other bloggers use inadvertantly locked out all internet explorer users. Whoops! If you are ever unable to access the site or have feedback, comments, etc., just send me an email (link in upper left).

Thanks for the very nice effort you’re making here. I have just a few comments/suggestions.
I noticed that a couple of date formats were coming through as 39516, e.g., instead of the actual date mm/dd/yy. See Stone Imp and Jolly Pumpkin BDM e.g.
Also, I found the alternating grey shading to be distracting and difficult for my eyes to adjust to when reading from one line to the next.
I didn’t notice a way that the table could be sorted. I think it would be useful to be able to sort by any of the column headers, particularly brewery and date.
Thanks for the comments guys. It’s especially great to see constructive feedback. I’ve tested the calendar in Firefox 3, IE 6 and 7. I do not see incorret date formats for the beers mentioned. May I ask what browser you are using?
I tried to lighten the grey but I don’t think it actually update when I altered the theme code..hmm…
Sortability features would be a long-term project. Have to learn mysql for that one.
Nevermind, I see the messed up dates and will fix.
