Updating my initial post from early June, Left Hand Brewing sent out a newsletter tonight with updates of upcoming beers. Here is the scoop on the collaboration with Terrapin Beer Co. called ‘Terra-Rye’zd:’
“Medium-bodied, black in color, the Imperial Roggen Schwartz Lager is 6.6% alcohol by volume with 37 IBU’s, and will be available in 22 oz. bombers and ½ bbl kegs starting in early October. It will only be available in the Southeast states where both breweries have a presence (Tennessee (Nashville only), North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida (Tampa/Fort Myers only)) and Colorado. Both Left Hand and Terrapin will be pouring the one-time beer at the Great American Beer Festival (October 9-11), and all Colorado Old Chicago Restaurants (www.oldchicago.com) will have it on tap as well.”
There is a release party for the beer on Oct. 7 at Left Hand.
Other seasonals returning from Left Hand Brewing soon include an 8.6% winter warmer called Snowbound and Warrior Fresh Hopped IPA. Both will be available this month. Left Hand Smokejumper Smoked Imperial Porter is a 9.2% imperial smoked porter. The beers will each be released in bombers.
For the most part, people may be able to find these beers in the following states: Colorado, Alaska, Arizona, Florida (Fort Lauderdale/Miami, Orlando, Tampa, Ft. Myers, Panhandle), Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York (Long Island & Upstate), North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee (Nashville), Texas, Virginia, Washington (Western only) and Wisconsin.
