(Boston, MA) – Boston Beer Company announced the winner of the 4th Annual Samuel Adams Beer Lover’s Choice Competition. Blackberry Witbier overtook Coffee Stout and will become a full-time release in January.
Samuel Adams Chocolate Bock has easily been the most popular (most-clicked) beer after my release calendar update last night. The intial report via the Forbes blog (complete with video tasting with Owner, Jim Koch) showed an Oct. 27 release date but the newsletter says it will be pushed back to first week in November.
The 2009 Longshot Winners have all finally been announced. Drobshoff’s Traditional Bock, Sweigart’s Cranberry Wit, and McDole’s Double IPA will all be packaged up for release in April of next year.
Lastly, Samuel Adams Winter Lager is due out next month.
