(Athens, GA) – The previous Side Project release, Gamma Ray, just hit the streets as did Terrapin’s collaboration beer with Left Hand Brewing. Word is already out about the next beer in Side Project Series, however. Terrapin Dos Cocoas Chocolate Porter, a “beer brewed and aged with chocolate” will come next. This one features 100% cocoa powder and is aged on cocoa nibs, all of which comes courtesy of Cacao Atlanta.
Hop Shortage IPA started off the series with RoggenRauchbier and Gamma Ray following. This will be the fourth edition. ABV is not yet listed.
can’t wait to try it. big fan of porters, and chocolate’s nice. i just recently had sam a choc bock and that was good, pretty chocolatey.
used to drink terrapin rye pa at the yardhouse in pbg, fl all the time but they stopped carrying it. bummer. i’ll have to look elsewhere for terrapin stuff. maybe total wine.
