(Asheville, NC) – French Broad Brewery will release another beer in bombers in a week or so. According to Andy at the brewery, “Gateway Kölsch has been available on draft for about a year now, and it’s been very successful. This golden, mild German ale is slated to be our fourth regular bottle offering. The name is the brainchild of our head brewer, Drew Barton, who feels the beer is a great intro to craft beer because it’s light and very drinkable.” “Light” in this case still hits the 5.3% ABV mark.
The first three releases from French Broad were 13 Rebels, Wee Heavy-er, and Wee Heavy-est. They also have a Belgian Stout coming which will be a small-batch release only available around town (so keep on the lookout, you guys at Beerinator!).
The Belgian Stout is now available at the Thirsty Monk (downstairs.)
