Well, we have reached December 1st which brings some level of fright as I know I am entering four months of winter. But for a lot of folks, it is the best time of year for beer: imperial stouts and porters, barley wines, holiday ales…so that makes up for it.

It is also the time of year in which The Lost Abbey offers Patron Sinners and Patron Saints memberships, arguably the crown jewel in commercial beer of the month clubs, to the public. And yes, those memberships go on sale beginning Monday, Dec. 1st. Beer people in about half of the country are eligible to receive Lost Abbey beer right at their doorstep.
