Stone Brewing and Dogfish Head have both revealed their 2009 special release schedules, both to be implemented in the upcoming update to the Craft Beer calendar.
From Oskar Blues latest newsletter: “Starting January 1, our canned and kegged beers will be available in the great states or Oregon and Alaska. Our beers are being distributed there by our new allies at Odom Corporation, which will also handle our beers in Washington state.” The Colorado brewery is also sending out its seasonal imperial stout, Ten Fidy to stores within the home state, SoCal, Texas, and the Pittsburgh area.
Three Floyds Mikkeller Oatgoop is beginning to roll out in stores (not sure how many stores that actually translates to…). Here is the short video of Mikkel’s wacky trip to Indiana.
Odell Brewing will now be distributing in Arizona beginning this year. Launch party at Papago Brewing on the night of Jan. 8.
Brewpublic has an update on the latest Rogue John Locker Stock series release, a Munich Helles Lager called Markus Brau.
Avery New World Porter will be released in Colorado and other states on (or shortly after) Jan. 7 per the brewery website.
Luke at BlogaboutBeer.com had an update on another new hoppy Maine beer (see Sebago Full Throttle article), Grittys 21 IPA. Hopefully there is still some on shelves.
Lastly, the Duck-Rabbit Barleywine will be released on Jan. 10th at 2pm at the brewery in North Carolina.
Sure they send Oskar Blues all the way to Alaska, but you can’t get it in the next state (Kansas).
