(Lahaina, Maui, HI) – Maui Brewing Co. (MBC) is proud to announce another phase of expansion. Commencement of the work on this phase comes less than two years from the opening of MBC’s second location, the production brewery. Adjacent to that facility on Honoapiilani Highway in Lahainatown, a tasting room and retail logo and beer shop is currently under construction. To make room for more tanks to keep the beer flowing, the canning operation will be relocated to the adjoining space.

Just three months ago, MBC’s brewpub at 4405 Honoapiilani Highway was reopened after that location was closed for several months of remodeling work.

With an additional three bays at this facility, relocation of the canning line will now be possible. This will make room for new tanks and storage silos that will be arriving soon. Additionally, another cold room will also be installed.

In response to a significant, increased demand for Maui’s only microbrews, Maui’s ONLY 100% local beer company will add new fermenters, aging tanks, dry storage, and silo will be to the existing production brewery.

Founder Garrett Marrero and his wife, Melanie, run a 7-barrel brewpub at the Kahana location as well as the 25-barrel full production brewery and canning facility in Lahaina. Maui Brewing Co. is a truly local beer as 100% of their products are made in Hawaii as opposed to other “Hawaiian” beers.
