(Middleton, WI) – Capital Brewery will introduce Wild Rice as its summer beer this year, according to a brewery rep. It looks like the beer is making its first appearance in a while if beer reviews at RateBeer are any indication. It is called a “specialty grain” beer on the site. The announcement should be made in an upcoming newsletter. Brewing began yesterday and anticipated release is around the end of May/early June.

In addition, label approval came through for the brewery’s Munich Dark Lager though they are dropping the ‘Munich’ off of the name. “It rounds out the updating of our annual line labels. The new Wisconsin Amber & Special Pilsner labels will be out around the same time.”
