Couple quick notes tonight…

Three Floyds Brewing announced the beer lineup for what is easily the biggest beer release event of the year (this Saturday, of course). Here is what was released for info on the blog today:

Struise Black Albert
Firestone Walker Abacus and Union Jack IPA
Founders Cerise
Plus beers from Flossmoor Station, Rock Bottom Chicago, and more to be announced…..”

Still no word on bottle count…

Port Brewing will have its own celebration the weekend after Three Floyds does its Dark Lord thing. The brewery is turning three.

“Three new beers are scheduled for the 2009 seasonal release:

Port (3rd) Anniversary (Double IPA)
Cuvee de Tomme
The Angel’s Share (Bourbon)

Information on total quantities, pricing and distribution will be made available at the end of April.

The Port Brewing Third Anniversary Celebration is Saturday, May 9, 2009. Beer release-only sales begin at noon. Party, food, music, etc. begins at 3pm. Admission is $15 and includes food, music, a Port Brewing logo pint glass and 8 beer tasting tickets. Additional tickets may be purchased at the event. Ticket sales are at-the-door only. There are no pre-sale tickets.”
