[4/17 Update: What timing. Beer will be released on May 1st.]
(Boulder, CO) – Here is your first look at
Avery Sixteen
. More is to come on this beer over the next few weeks. Here is what the brewery has to say so far: “Sixteen is a harmonious combination of jasmine, peaches and honey fermented with an unmistakable Belgian yeast strain, all weaving into a marvelously spicy and fruity, massively estery and dry, saison ale.
The brew will be right around 7.9% ABV. The grist bill is 65/35 pale two-row to pale wheat, and is lightly hopped to accentuate the fruit and spices. OG was 1.065 and terminal gravity is 1.007.”
If you want to see what is written on the label, you can click on the picture for a slightly bigger version (may still be hard on the eyes for some- sorry!). I’m expecting the beer to be released in early summer much like last year’s Avery Fifteen.
