(Brunswick, ME) – When the brand-new Pannepot Cafe opens on Monday, June 1st in Brunswick, Maine, what will be on draft? Struise Black Jack, Struise Dirty Horse, and Pipedream to name a few. Dirty Horse, if un-retired, would be firmly entrenched in the RateBeer top 50 beers in the world. Details are up on the website now.
And don’t forget to be on the lookout for Cuvee Delphine by the end of the month.
The Dirty Horse label is interesting – it looks like they “borrowed” the design from elsewhere.
Its from the “Horse Stories” album cover by the band Dirty Three. Here is a picture of the cover: http://www.amazon.com/o/ASIN/B0000019LR
I’m pretty sure that the band does all their own artwork, so I wonder if they got permission to use it.

Hah, I noticed that too but never really looked to see whether it was actually the case. I love the song, “Hope” and am glad to know of someone else that has heard of them.
