(Chicago, IL) – In line with the brewery’s revamped branding,

Goose Island Christmas Ale

will get a new look before it hits shelves in October. Gone is a lot of the color and winter backdrop. In is the ‘classy’, elegant look similar to recent releases like Matilda and Pere Jacques.

Christmas Ale is typically available through December and features a recipe change with each release. New this year, the brewery is also making a donation to a local Chicago charity: “We are donating a portion of the profits from this year’s Christmas Ale to the Chicago Christmas Ship. Each year, the ship sails from the shores of Michigan to Chicago with a hull of Christmas trees to be given to many disadvantaged families in Chicago.”
