Artist, Dan Grzeca, posted on his blog last month that he designed a label for a new bottle coming out from

Three Floyds: Apocalypse Cow

. The beer is a double IPA brewed with lactose sugar, and was previously available on tap last year. Some have speculated that it will be the next release in bombers from the brewery; there is also rumor that the brewery is not doing Fantabulous Resplendence this year but I haven’t confirmed that.

Russian River Brewing is doing another bottle release, likely this summer, on the heels of its second batch of Consecration which hit the market this week. Russian River Temptation will be released in 750 mL bottles this year as opposed to the old 375 mL format though the 375’s are expected to return down the road. One beer manager expected the bottles to arrive in about one month.

  1. By pure chance I was at the brewery on Tuesday, Day 2 of three days of Temptation bottling. Don’t expect bottle conditioning to be rushed.

Everything in 750s (except for the nine-liter bottles that Vinnie obviously cannot resist).
