Set sail with the NEW Heavy Seas Bomber Series
BALTIMORE, MD – Clipper City Brewing Company, brewers of Heavy Seas, Oxford Organic, and Clipper City beers, is proud to announce the upcoming fall releases our Heavy Seas “Bomber Series.” The “Bomber Series” is an extension of the Heavy Seas product line with brews made in very limited release small batches, and bottled in 22 oz. bottles.
The new 22oz Heavy Seas Bomber Series began as a pet project of the Clipper City Heavy Seas brewers who created very small batch experiments to amuse the palates of folks who worked at the brewery. They quickly agreed that some of results were just too good to keep to themselves. This line is a true labor of love and the label art is even created by one of the brewers.
Founding partner Hugh Sisson encouraged the project by saying, “I believe in the creativity of our brewers, and if they are excited to try something new, than I want to see them have their chance. It helps us keep expecting the unexpected.”
Heavy Seas Prosit! – Imperial Octoberfest Beer beginning Aug 1
Malt focused, made with five types of grain including Vienna and Munich malts – plus a secret extra malt that we use only in our Prosit! Consider this bomber to be the burly big brother to our Clipper City MarzHon, a three year in a row winner at the Great American Beer Festival. We’ve balanced the sweetness of the malt with three kinds of hops making this one of the boldest marzen style lagers you’ll ever try.

Heavy Seas The Great Pumpkin – an Imperial Pumpkin Ale beginning Sept 1
The secret is in the 2.5 pounds of spice per barrel for this fall brew. We add the pumpkin during the mash at precisely the right time to create just the perfect balance of malt, hops, pumpkin and spice.
