(Akron, OH) – Here are some notes I copied about this beer off of Facebook:
“Just brewed the 12th beer for Hoppin’ Frog, called Hop Master’s Abbey – a Belgian-American Double IPA. Fermented with our house Belgian Abbey yeast for a unique, spicy character, with many great American hops varieties, and over 8% a/v.”
There is a brewery-only release on Friday, August 14, at 1pm. It sounds like distribution will occur the following month.
The brewery is also working on a Double Pumpkin beer which will only be available in 22oz bottles. “We expect the beer to be a deep gold color with 8.4% a/v.”
