(Delmar, DE) – Evolution Craft Brewing‘s first bottles just rolled off of the bottling line a little over a week ago. The Delmar-based brewery set a goal earlier this year to get bottles out into the Delaware market by Labor Day and it looks like they will achieve that goal with the introduction of Primal Pale Ale, Exile ESB, and Lucky 7 Porter. The beers will be available in 12 oz. bottles (presumably packaged in 6-packs).

Evolution Exile ESB

“Light amber in color, assertively hopped but well balanced. Fruity and aromatic, generously dry hopped with Cascades and East Kent Goldings. 48 IBUs, 5.8% ABV. Brewed to pair with that big fatty steak or spicy dish.

Evolution Primal Pale Ale

A golden, dry, slightly hoppy pale ale. Refreshing and balanced. Notes of pine and citrus in the aroma, earthy middle, clean finish. 28 IBUs, 5% ABV. Pairs perfectly with your favorite fish, shrimp, crab, or lightly spiced dish.

Evolution Lucky 7 Porter

Black with gamet highlights, this porter is rich and full flavored with notes of chocolate, coffee and smoke playing off the sweeter toffee and dark dried fruit tones. 24 IBUs, 5.7% ABV. Try this one with some smoked bbq or chocolate dessert.

The brewery, which just started operations early this spring, also reported news on its blog this summer that has big fall implications: “In the fall we’ll be doing a unique twist on the seemingly ubiquitous pumpkin ale- we have a pumpkin patch planted by a local farmer, and details on this (the unique part) will certainly follow.
