(La Vista, NE) – Lucky Bucket Brewing will release Certified Evil, its own version of last year’s Collaborative Evil project, this fall. The beer uses a strong Belgian-style golden ale as the base beer as well as locally-grown hops and a proprietary yeast blend. It has been aging in oak for just over one year. Look for bombers in Lucky Bucket’s retail markets by late October.
The brewery has also been updating fans on the status of its new brewery on its Facebook page (hopefully that link works for Facebook users- if not, just search ‘Lucky Bucket’). The Lucky Bucket team just put together a 20-barrel system with six 40-barrel fermenters. First brew was last Friday. The brewery is in a 12,000 square foot facility that includes a tasting room and Nebraska’s first distillery since before prohibition.
One of the first brews there should be an IPA. More on the first bottling coming in the near future.
Had this at Parkville Microfest when it was called Concentrated Evil. Very tasty but very different (love/hate). Can’t wait till they can start distributing outside of NE.
