(Portland, OR) – Mactarnahan’s Brewing launched a new beer over the weekend. Mactarnahan’s Goose Bump Imperial Stout is the brewery’s new winter seasonal appearing in 22 oz. bombers. According to Marketing Director, Mark Carver, it replaces Lip Stinger in the big bottle line-up. Less than 1,000 cases of this one have been produced so it is not expected to last past January. Look for it in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Alaska, and Hawaii.

Goose Bump weighs in at 9% ABV and uses coffee beans from locals, Stumptown Coffee Roasters.

There is a Meet the Brewer event at the Green Dragon this Tuesday night where Goose Bump will be poured along with Humbg’r Ale (more below) and a couple others. Details can be found on the Oregon Beer website.

The brewery also recently debuted Humbug’r Ale in both 6-packs and bombers. Website description: “You know he’s arrived. Wheeling through the party, being too loud, crowding the buffet, lurking under the mistletoe and spilling cheer. He’s a lot like this beer. Its dark malt body and rich roasted flavor will unravel your ribbons and leave you wanting more. Too bad it only comes once a year. Good thing is there’s plenty more where it came from.”

Malts: Caramel, Black Roast, Wheat and Oats
Hops: Northern Brewer and Willamette
Bitternes: 27 IBU
Alcohol By Volume: 5.3%
