Chico, CA-based entertainment site, ChicoGrid, recently posted up a video on Sierra Nevada Brewing. It gives you an inside look at the brewery, one I hope to visit someday. Sounds like the A/V editor was really digging some soft post-rock tunes while working on the video.
A look inside Sierra Nevada Brewing (video)

As the $9.99 Estate Ale wallows on the store shelves – months after release – one can only wonder what will happen with next years release. Last years Chico Estate was much more difficult to obtain.
Actually, I’m still wondering about this years release: Why the $9.99 price tag on the Estate Ale 24 oz? The only difference from last years Chico Estate is the incorporation of “estate” malt.
There is no doubt the beer is excellent. But so was last years Chico Estate. The beer aficionado can only wonder – why the $9.99 price tag increase from $3.99 24oz? Bill?
Beer will never be wine.
What do you mean by beer will not be wine? I would argue that some of the blends out there are like wine in a sense. Many beers are aged in barrels for years . . . a lot of care is put into them.
I never even saw the $10 Estate in my area. That is how fast it went.
As for the difference between this edition and last year’s, Bill has spelled that out what’s different in some forum posts over on Beer Advocate. Search for user: sierranevadabill.
