Valley Brew Old Inventory due in January

(Stockton, CA) – Valley Brew Old Inventory will be bottled during the second week of January, according to Brewmaster, Steve Altimari, and released soon thereafter.

Old Inventory, an English-Style Barley Wine and a GABF 2009 gold medalist, will be brewed on a seasonal basis and some is already available on tap at the brewery and in the SF Bay area. ABV is 11.3%, packaged in 22 oz. bombers.

Here are some other updates from Altimari regarding what’s brewing in Stockton: “IPA, Luna, and London Tavern are the standard bottled beers available year-round; Uberhoppy is turning into a regular release lately as well it seems. We will keep brewing it year-round but we will release it about six times a year only in limited quantity.

We also have Decedent Evil (Belgian Golden with Pomegranate Honey secondary ferment) and Decadence Pomegranate Saison being bottled in a couple weeks as well. The Decadent Evil is a one off but the Pomegranate Saison may become a seasonal depending on consumer response.

We will be going through two distributors starting early next year, one in the Bay Area and one in the Auburn area. We will be working on a seasonal release plan but probably not have anything finalized for a few weeks as we meet with our new distributors and determine how they would like to see our timing workout.”

Rough schedule at the start of the year:

January – more Uberhoppy and Old Inventory
Feb/March – Decedent Evil and Saison
Our summer beer will probably be our Insanity Czech Pils but this isn’t finalized yet. Could possibly be Decadence 6 (Belgian single).
