(Kalamazoo, MI and Harrisburg, PA) – What are the odds that these beers would arrive on the same day (or around there) for the second consecutive year? I swear these breweries are competing with these two products! The beers were released around Jan. 10th last year so the breweries are sending them out a bit earlier in 2010.
Bell’s Brewery revealed recently that Hopslam would hit shelves this week and it has. The first mention I saw of it being available came on Twitter yesterday afternoon from Weiland’s Market in Columbus, OH. There have been over 120 tweets so far hyping up the Hopslam release on Twitter in the past 30 hours.
After Bell’s announcement, Troegs Brewing came out of nowhere on Monday to announce that Nugget Nectar was now available in 22 oz. bombers. So far, close to 40 tweets in the past two days.
Still no Bell’s Batch 9000 news to report though . . .
These are seriously two of my all-time favorites. If only we could get them this far north…
