(Cherry Hill, NJ) – Flying Fish Brewing will release Exit 4 American Trippel in 6-packs for the first time early next month. The beer will be produced year-round but available on a limited basis according to Founder Gene Muller.

Muller thinks that the 6-packs will retail for around $2 more than their traditional year-round offerings. The brewery isn’t doing any draft at this point though it may in the future.

Exit 4 won a gold medal at this past year’s Great American Beer Festival in the American-Belgo Style Sour Ale category, beating 50 entries.

Beer stats courtesy of The Brew Lounge:

“Malts: Malto Franco-Belge Pils malt, White Wheat, Acidulated Malt
Hops: Columbus, Palisades, Amarillo, Simcoe
Yeast: Belgian Abbey Yeast
Original Gravity: 21.5 plato
Alcohol by volume: 9.5%”

The Flying Fish Exit Series kicked off last March with Exit 4. Here is the official site.

You may still be able to find Exit 1 Bayshore Oyster Stout though it was released two months ago so it may no longer be available.

  1. We still have Exit 1 at my store (Canal’s) in Mt. Ephraim. Not sure when the next in the exit series is out, but it should be soon.

Although Exit 1 was excellent, many people balked when they found out it had oysters in it.
