(Boston, MA) – Harpoon Brewery will introduce a new year-round beer for the first time in nearly three years this spring. Harpoon Belgian-style Pale Ale will debut in six-packs (and likely on draft) this March.
The label reads, “Using the finest Belgian and American brewing ingredients we have created a golden amber ale that boasts a mellow malt body and a spicy, fruity aroma.”
Says Justin Harm at The Hopback, “This looks like it is a larger scale bottling of the BPA that was brewed in 2006 and offered at both the Belgium Comes to Cooperstown festival and the BeerAdvocate Belgian Beer Festival that year, and has sporadically popped up here and there since then.”
What else is coming up from the brewery? Try Harpoon Leviathan Imperial Red and Harpoon Island Creek Oyster Stout (100 Barrel Series), both out in February.
