Captain Lawrence Brewing was expected to release a new batch of Rosso e Marrone this month though there is speculation that it may now be March. The beer has been unpredictable in the past so it’s best to sign up for the CLB newsletter and wait for an email regarding release details from the owner. Captain Lawrence Kolsch has received label approval and will debut on draft next month. Birra DeCicco should be ready in bottles by then as well.

Long Trail Brewing introduced Long Trail Pale Ale in bottles earlier this month as a new year-round offering. The beer features Cascade and Centennial hops. As to where to find it, Long Trail currently distributes to VT, NH, ME, RI, MA, CT, NY, NJ and PA. Long Trail Coffee Stout, the first beer to appear in the limited Long Trail Brewmaster Series is also back for another go-round.

Tidbits from Yankee Brew News:

Narragansett Bock is currently in the process of being approved for tallboy cans. Regardless, it will be back later this month. Narragansett Porter is expected to eventually hit tallboy cans as well.

Those Thomas Hooker four-packs I mentioned last month? They will be going at the same price point as one 500-ml bottle so “almost three times the beer for the same price.” Munich Lager will be made available in 12 oz. bottles this spring.

New England Brewing will release Gold Stock Ale on draft late next week. According to YBN: “a beer that goes back to New England Brewing’s original incarnation in the 1990s under different owners and a recipe developed by Ron Page, now at City Steam Brewery […] Saaz, Hallertauer, Tettnanger, Perle and Cascades.” Gandhi-Bot Double IPA, coming in March, will use Simcoe and Columbus hops.

Finally, Rock Art Brewery is in the process of developing a new IPA.
