(Aberdeen, SCOTLAND) – No craft brewery in the world has polarized beer drinkers quite like BrewDog. For every drinker who is interested in BrewDog Sink the Bismarck! or got a chuckle from today’s announcement, it seems as though there is another who is dismayed by the brewery’s marketing and wishes they would focus on making great beer.
BrewDog’s Managing Director, James Watt, took to the Beer Advocate site today to issue a statement regarding concern around the Sink the Bismarck! announcement.
I’ve also been in contact with Georg Tscheuschner of Schorschbraeu to give him an outlet if he wishes to respond the video itself or allegations within it.
What a mockery of all things craft beer.
Hopefully American brewers won’t catch this pissing match disease any further than they already have.
