(Fort Collins, CO) – Before you get too excited, this isn’t a year-round thing.

New Belgium Brewing will introduce Ranger IPA, its newly-released year-round beer, into cans on a limited one-off basis around mid-March. 12,000 cans (or 500 cases) of IPA will be split up between CO, WY, OR and the Bay Area.

“It’s a slower season for can sales in general right now so we had the capacity to play around with Ranger which is in high demand,” says Media Relations Director, Bryan Simpson. “There are no plans for future Ranger canning at the moment.”

New Belgium Ranger is the brewery’s third beer to go into aluminum. The brewery currently distributes Fat Tire cans throughout its 26-state territory and Sunshine Wheat cans in Colorado.
