(Chico, CA) – Until now, Sierra Nevada Brewing‘s Sierra30.com site has been dormant with only a newsletter/notification sign-up link. The brewery hasn’t even sent out the notice yet but the site is now live!
Info on all the pioneers with which Sierra Nevada Brewing is working for the Sierra 30th Anniversary Series is up on the website: slideshows, videos, short biographical summaries, and charities to which each brewer will donate. There is also a short description for each beer. Here is the schedule:
Mid-March – Fritz and Ken’s Ale – Imperial Stout
Mid-May – Charlie, Fred and Ken’s Ale – Imperial Helles Ale
Mid-July – Jack and Ken’s Ale – American Barleywine
Mid-October – Our Brewer’s Reserve – Oak Aged Ale (a blend of Oak-Aged Bigfoot, Celebration Ale and fresh Pale Ale)
From the original press release: “We wanted to pay tribute to the original pioneers who helped me and hundreds of others get started,” said Sierra Nevada founder Ken Grossman. “Few people in the craft-brewing world have accomplished more than these guys, and we thought it might be fun to get the original crew together and make something special.”
