(Ruiselede, BELGIUM) – From Artisanal Imports’ latest newsletter:
“Last month we interviewed Hildegard Van Ostaden from Urthel. She’s a dynamic personality with a wandering curiosity that has led her to create their newest beer: Urthel Saisonnière.
When we were first introduced to Saisonnière, it was still in the tank at the brewery. Our first sample was unfinished, yeasty and cloudy but we could tell that the beer had character. A touch of hops, a firm bitterness and a mildy, appealing fruitiness.
Saisonnière is brewed with 20% wheat for a style-shifting beer that is part Saison, part wheat beer and part golden/pale ale. Like the best of Hildegard’s beers, Saisonnière is deceptively simple on first sip and elegantly simple with a gently building complexity.
The first shipment of Saisonnière has arrived in our New Jersey warehouse. Reach out to us to secure your initial shipment as we expect it to be a popular beer as spring unwinds.
Saisonnière will be sold in 330ml (11.2 ounce) bottles and 30L KeyKegs.”
Where can I purchase this beer in South Jersey? I had the Saisonniere at Monk’s Cafe in Philadelphia, and it is wonderful. Any help you can provide would be appreciated. Thanks, Tim
