New Glarus Brewing Unplugged update courtesy of Beer Geek Heaven: “Looks like New Glarus has invoked their right to change their mind. While it’s more likely the fault of the beer, they have decided to switch to Enigma for the May Unplugged release and push ABT back, probably to August with Apple Ale still in November.”
From Surly Brewing‘s newsletter about one week ago: “Abrasive Ale will soon be out in cans and kegs. This beer is last year’s 16 Grit, our first DIPA – Double IPA. We plan on brewing it so it will be in liquor stores for about 6 weeks. No need to fight over the last 4-pack at your favorite liquor store when it first comes out, their will be more.” Surly Smoke is now available (in bottles) on shelves. Some stores are limiting buyers to one bottle. Surly Four is planned to be bottled next month.
Port Brewing & The Lost Abbey announced that the release of Amorosa and Veritas will be delayed until April 17 due to an issue with its corker. Angel’s Bourbon will still be available April 3.
Widmer Brothers Brewing announced that it will extend W’10 Pitch Black IPA on draft until October.
Finally, this news came out a while back but Great Divide Brewing is discontinuing Saint Bridget’s Porter according to a store rep on Beer Advocate.
